Full Terms and Conditions / Terms of Use

Effective Date: August 27, 2026


Welcome to The MyoSphere website (the “Site”). The Site is owned and operated by The MyoSphere, LLC: Karen Masters, Dawn Moore, and Lindsey Doyle (“The MyoSphere,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).


These Terms and Conditions / Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site and your participation in The MyoSphere events, educational programs, community, sponsorship opportunities, exhibitor activities, and other services offered through or in connection with the Site (collectively, the “Services”).


By accessing or using the Site, registering for an event, purchasing a registration, educational product, sponsorship, exhibitor package, or other Service, or participating in a MyoSphere event or community, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or Services.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering through, purchasing from, or otherwise using the Site or participating in The MyoSphere Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted to the Site, unless otherwise stated. The updated version will be identified by a revised Effective Date. Your continued use of the Site or participation in the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to register for an account, purchase a ticket or registration, purchase educational resources, enter into a sponsorship or exhibitor agreement, or otherwise enter into a contractual agreement through the Site.

By using the Site or purchasing Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.


3. Event Registration and Participation

The MyoSphere may offer conferences, educational programs, workshops, virtual programs, networking opportunities, and other events (collectively, “Events”).


Event registration may include, depending on the package purchased:

  • Attendance at an Event;

  • Access to educational sessions;

  • Meals or refreshments;

  • Exhibitor or sponsor opportunities;

  • Educational materials or resources;

  • Access to recordings or other digital content; and

  • Other benefits specifically identified at the time of purchase.


The specific inclusions, pricing, dates, times, locations, schedules, and other details applicable to an Event will be provided at the time of registration or communicated to registered participants.

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to Event dates, schedules, speakers, session topics, locations, formats, exhibitors, sponsors, meals, or other Event details when circumstances require.

Registration or participation in one Event does not create any right or entitlement to attend future Events or receive future Services.


4. Registration Payments

All registration, sponsorship, exhibitor, educational resource, and other fees are due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed to by The MyoSphere in writing.
 

Payments made through the Site are processed through Wix or its designated payment-processing providers. The MyoSphere does not intentionally store complete payment card information.


You are responsible for providing accurate and current billing and contact information.

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are listed in U.S. dollars and do not include applicable taxes or other charges that may be imposed at checkout.


You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank, credit-card company, or other payment provider in connection with your transaction.


5. Cancellation, Refunds, and Substitutions

All Event registrations, sponsorships, exhibitor purchases, add-ons, and other purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable unless The MyoSphere expressly states otherwise in writing.


Once a purchase has been completed, cancellation requests, refund requests, and requests to transfer a registration to another person generally will not be accepted.


This policy applies regardless of whether a registrant is ultimately able to attend an Event, including because of illness, travel difficulties, scheduling conflicts, personal circumstances, changes in employment, or other circumstances outside the control of The MyoSphere.


If The MyoSphere voluntarily approves an exception to this policy, any such exception will be made at The MyoSphere’s sole discretion and will not create an obligation to provide an exception in the future.


If an Event is canceled or materially changed by The MyoSphere, we will communicate available options to registered participants. To the extent required by applicable law, any refund or other remedy will be provided in accordance with applicable law.

The MyoSphere is not responsible for travel, lodging, transportation, meals, or other expenses incurred by a participant in connection with an Event.

6. Event Terms/Conditions, Changes, Postponement, or Cancellation

By registering for The Myosphere Symposium, attendees agree to follow all event policies and venue requirements.

​

Attendees seeking continuing education credit are responsible for meeting all attendance and participation requirements and for confirming that credits meet the requirements of their individual license or credential.
 

Presentation materials, recordings, handouts, and other educational content may not be copied, distributed, recorded, or used commercially without permission.


Photography and video may take place during the Symposium for educational and promotional purposes.

Terms of Service and Course Agreement


By enrolling in, purchasing, or attending our Symposium (whether in person, live online, or via recorded playback), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.


Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

a) Program Access & Attendance Modes

We offer educational courses featuring invited speaker available in the following modalities: 

  • In-Person Attendance: Grants you physical entry to the specified venue for the duration of the course and access to the recordings for a specified amount of time after the event.
    Live Online Access: Grants you a digital link to stream the course live. You are responsible for ensuring your hardware and internet connection meet the technical requirements to stream the broadcast.

  • Recorded Playback: Grants you access to the recorded version of the course after the live event concludes.

b) Account Security & Prohibited Sharing

To access our online platform, you must create an account.

  • Single-User License: Each registration and account is strictly for one single user.

  • No Account Sharing: You may not share your login credentials, passwords, or course access links with any third party.

  • Monitoring: The MyoSphere reserves the right to monitor account login data. If we detect simultaneous logins or suspicious IP activity, your account may be permanently terminated without a refund.

c) Intellectual Property & Copyright

All course materials, including but not limited to live streams, video recordings, audio, slides, worksheets, handouts, text, graphics, and speaker presentations, are the exclusive intellectual property of The MyoSphere and/or our invited guest speakers.

  • Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view the materials for your personal professional development.

  • All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by The MyoSphere.

d) Permitted Use & Restrictions

You may use the insights and knowledge gained from our courses to inform your professional practice or personal education. However, you are strictly prohibited from:

  • Downloading Materials: You may not download, rip, or save video recordings or live streams to your personal devices unless a specific "Download" button is explicitly provided for a file (such as a PDF worksheet).

  • Recording: Recording the live stream, in-person event, or playback videos via screen-capture software, external cameras, or audio recording devices is strictly prohibited.

  • Redistribution: You may not republish, resell, license, or distribute any course content, screenshots, or materials to colleagues, students, or the general public.

e) Content Availability & Technical Issues

  • Access Duration: For recorded playbacks or post-event video access, materials will remain available on our platform for the specific timeframe stated at checkout.

  • Platform Maintenance: While we strive for 100% uptime, The MyoSphere does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the live stream or recorded viewing, but technical difficulties will be corrected as soon as possible.  

f) Course Recordings & Participant Consent

By attending a course (especially in person or live online via interactive platforms like Zoom), you acknowledge that the session is being recorded.

  • Consent to Record: Your voice, image, or typed questions in the chat may be captured in the final recording.

  • Use of Recordings: The MyoSphere retains the right to use these recordings for future educational products, marketing, and distribution. If you do not wish to be recorded during a live online session, you must keep your camera and microphone turned off.

g) Limitation of Liability

The MyoSphere invites independent guest speakers to provide specialized educational content. The views, clinical methodologies, and opinions expressed by these speakers belong solely to them and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of The MyoSphere. Content is provided for educational purposes only and does not substitute for formal clinical training or medical advice.
 

Changes

Symposium programming, speakers, schedules, and presentation topics are subject to change.


The MyoSphere reserves the right to modify, postpone, relocate, reschedule, shorten, or cancel an Event or any portion of an Event when circumstances make such action necessary or appropriate.
 

Circumstances may include, without limitation:

  • Severe weather;

  • Natural disasters;

  • Public health emergencies;

  • Government restrictions or requirements;

  • Venue issues;

  • Transportation disruptions;

  • Labor disputes;

  • Security concerns;

  • Speaker or presenter illness or unavailability;

  • Technical failures;

  • Acts of God; or

  • Other circumstances beyond The MyoSphere’s reasonable control.
     

If an Event is postponed, relocated, converted to a virtual format, or otherwise materially changed, The MyoSphere will make reasonable efforts to notify registered participants and provide information regarding the available options.
 

The MyoSphere does not guarantee that an Event will occur exactly as originally announced, including with respect to speakers, session topics, schedules, exhibitors, sponsors, venue arrangements, meals, or other Event features.
 

If The Myosphere cancels the Symposium entirely and does not provide a rescheduled event, remote program, recordings, or substantially equivalent educational content, The Myosphere will determine the appropriate remedy for registered attendees. If remote participation and/or recorded content is available, registration fees remain nonrefundable.

The Myosphere is not responsible for airfare, lodging, transportation, meals, or other travel or personal expenses associated with attending the Symposium. Attendees are encouraged to make refundable travel arrangements or obtain travel insurance when appropriate.
 

7. Sponsorship and Exhibitor Terms

The Site may allow individuals or organizations to purchase sponsorships, exhibitor packages, exhibitor tables, meals, advertisements, or other Event-related opportunities.
 

All sponsorship and exhibitor purchases are subject to the package descriptions and terms provided at the time of purchase.

Package inclusions are limited to those specifically identified in the applicable package description. Additional services, tables, meals, registrations, or other items may be purchased separately when available.
 

The MyoSphere reserves the right to reasonably modify exhibitor layouts, schedules, locations, logistics, and other Event arrangements.

Sponsors and exhibitors must comply with these Terms, applicable Event rules, venue requirements, and reasonable instructions provided by The MyoSphere.
 

The MyoSphere reserves the right to decline, remove, or terminate a sponsorship or exhibitor arrangement if the sponsor or exhibitor violates these Terms, engages in inappropriate or disruptive conduct, or presents a safety, legal, or reputational concern.

Except as otherwise agreed in writing, sponsorship or exhibitor fees are non-refundable.
 

8. Community Guidelines and Code of Conduct

The MyoSphere is committed to providing a professional, welcoming, educational, and respectful environment for attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, staff, and other members of the community.
 

By participating in The MyoSphere community or Events, you agree to:

  • Treat other participants with professionalism, courtesy, and respect;

  • Respect differences in professional opinions, experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives;

  • Follow reasonable instructions from The MyoSphere staff, Event personnel, and venue representatives;

  • Avoid harassment, bullying, intimidation, threats, or discriminatory conduct;

  • Avoid unwelcome sexual comments, conduct, advances, or other inappropriate behavior;

  • Avoid disruptive behavior that interferes with presentations, networking, education, or other participants’ experience;

  • Respect the privacy and personal boundaries of other participants;

  • Use online community spaces and communication channels appropriately;

  • Refrain from spam, excessive solicitation, or unauthorized commercial promotion;

  • Comply with applicable laws and venue policies; and

  • Respect the intellectual property and confidential information of others.
     

Harassment or other inappropriate conduct may result in removal from an Event, suspension or termination of access to the Site or community, cancellation of participation privileges, or other appropriate action.
 

The MyoSphere reserves the right to take action regarding conduct that it reasonably believes violates these guidelines, even if the conduct is not specifically described in these Terms.

Nothing in these Community Guidelines limits The MyoSphere’s ability to take action to protect the safety, integrity, and professional environment of the community.
 

9. Photography, Video, Audio, and Event Recordings

By attending or participating in a MyoSphere Event, you acknowledge that the Event may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, recorded, or otherwise documented.
 

Your image, likeness, voice, comments, or participation may appear in photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, livestreams, educational materials, promotional materials, social media, websites, or other media relating to The MyoSphere.

By attending an Event, you grant The MyoSphere permission to use such recordings and materials for legitimate Event-related, educational, archival, promotional, marketing, and business purposes, without additional compensation, to the extent permitted by law.

If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify The MyoSphere or Event staff. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests when practical, but we cannot guarantee that you will not appear incidentally in recordings or photographs of an Event.

10. Educational Content and Continuing Education Credit

The MyoSphere may provide educational, clinical, professional, or other informational content through the Site or at Events.

Such content is provided for general educational and informational purposes and is not a substitute for individualized professional judgment, diagnosis, treatment, or consultation with an appropriately qualified professional.
 

Where continuing education credit is offered or advertised, The MyoSphere will make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information regarding applicable credit requirements and approvals.


However, accreditation and licensing requirements may vary by profession, jurisdiction, and accrediting organization. It is the participant’s responsibility to determine whether a particular course or Event satisfies their individual continuing education or licensure requirements.


The MyoSphere does not guarantee that any particular educational activity or credit will be accepted by a specific licensing, certifying, accrediting, or professional organization unless expressly stated otherwise.


11. Intellectual Property

All content available through the Site or Services, including text, graphics, photographs, logos, trademarks, service marks, designs, educational materials, presentations, videos, recordings, documents, course materials, and The MyoSphere name and branding (collectively, “Content”), is owned by The MyoSphere or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
 

Except as expressly permitted in writing, you may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, or publicly display Content;

  • Sell, license, sublicense, or commercially exploit Content;

  • Modify or create derivative works from Content;

  • Upload or distribute recordings of MyoSphere sessions;

  • Share paid educational materials or access credentials with others; or

  • Remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.


You may use Content made available to you for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes, subject to any additional restrictions provided with that Content.


12. User Accounts

Certain features of the Site may require you to create an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information;

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;

  • Keeping your account information current; and

  • All activity occurring through your account.

 

You may not share your account credentials with another person or permit another person to access paid or restricted Content through your account.

 

If you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization, please notify us promptly at info@themyosphere.com.

 

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site or Services to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation;

  • Upload, transmit, or distribute unlawful, defamatory, threatening, obscene, or infringing content;

  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, or deceive another person;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, accounts, or connected systems;

  • Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code;

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site or Services;

  • Use automated systems or scraping tools to collect Site content without permission;

  • Circumvent security or access controls;

  • Misrepresent your affiliation with The MyoSphere or another person or organization; or

  • Engage in any activity that could reasonably interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Site or community.

 

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, applications, payment processors, registration platforms, social media platforms, or other services that are not owned or controlled by The MyoSphere.

The MyoSphere is not responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms of third-party websites or services.

Your use of third-party services is governed by the terms and policies of those third parties.

 

The inclusion of a third-party link or service does not necessarily constitute an endorsement by The MyoSphere.

 

15. Privacy

Your use of the Site and Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information.

 

By using the Site or Services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed our Privacy Policy.

 

16. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND SERVICES, INCLUDING ALL CONTENT, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, EVENTS, AND OTHER INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SITE, ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

THE MYOSPHERE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT SUCH WARRANTIES CANNOT LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.

THE MYOSPHERE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE OR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, TIMELY, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Nothing on the Site or provided through an Event constitutes medical, dental, clinical, legal, financial, or other individualized professional advice.

​

Educational or clinical information should not be relied upon as a substitute for appropriate professional judgment or consultation.

 

17. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE MYOSPHERE AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, SPEAKERS, AND REPRESENTATIVES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, SERVICES, OR PARTICIPATION IN AN EVENT.

THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, LOSS OF GOODWILL, TRAVEL EXPENSES, LODGING EXPENSES, OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE MYOSPHERE’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE, SERVICES, OR AN EVENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO THE MYOSPHERE FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

 

18. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The MyoSphere and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, speakers, and representatives from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:

  • Your violation of these Terms;

  • Your violation of applicable law;

  • Your violation of the rights of another person or organization;

  • Your misuse of the Site or Services; or

  • Your conduct in connection with an Event or the MyoSphere community.

 

19. Assumption of Risk

Participation in in-person Events may involve risks associated with travel, attendance at a public gathering, use of Event facilities, interaction with other participants, and other activities.

By voluntarily attending an Event, you acknowledge that you assume the ordinary risks associated with participation, to the extent permitted by law.

​

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

20. Accessibility and Accommodations

The MyoSphere is committed to providing reasonable accommodation and accessibility support when possible.
 

If you require an accommodation to participate in an Event or access our Services, please contact us at info@themyosphere.com as early as possible so that we can determine what accommodations may be available.

21. Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site, community, educational Content, or Events if we reasonably believe that you have:

  • Violated these Terms;

  • Violated applicable law;

  • Engaged in harassment, threatening, disruptive, or inappropriate conduct;

  • Misused the Site or Services;

  • Compromised the security or integrity of the Site or community; or

  • Engaged in conduct that presents a safety, legal, or significant reputational concern.

 

Where appropriate, we may take such action without prior notice.

 

Termination does not relieve you of obligations that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law.

 

22. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.

 

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

 

24. Waiver

The failure of The MyoSphere to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.

 

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional written terms expressly applicable to a particular Event, sponsorship, exhibitor package, or Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and The MyoSphere regarding your use of the Site and Services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

26. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time.

The current version will be posted on the Site and will include an updated Effective Date. Your continued use of the Site or Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
